    Four Common Faults of Pressure Sensor

     

    1. Problems of sealing ring of pressure transmitter

     

    After the first pressurization, the output of the transmitter did not change, and then the output of the transmitter suddenly changed, and the zero position of the transmitter could not go back after pressure relief, which is probably the problem of the sealing ring of the pressure sensor. The common situation is that due to the specifications of the sealing ring, the sealing ring is compressed into the pressure inlet of the sensor after the sensor is tightened, thus blocking the sensor. When pressurized, the pressure medium can't enter, but when the pressure is high, the sealing ring is suddenly burst, and the pressure sensor changes under pressure. The best way to eliminate this fault is to remove the sensor and directly check whether the zero position is normal. If the zero position is normal, replace the sealing ring and try again.

     

    2, the pressure can go up, but the transmitter output can't get up.

     

    In this case, we should first check whether the pressure interface is leaking or blocked. If it is confirmed, we should check whether the wiring mode is wrong and check the power supply. If the power supply is normal, we should simply pressurize it to see whether the output has changed or whether the zero position of the sensor has output. If it has not changed, the sensor has been damaged. Otherwise, it is a problem of instrument damage or other links of the whole system.

     

    3. The deviation between the transmitter and the pointer pressure gauge is large.

     

    This deviation is normal, just confirm the normal deviation range; The last fault that is easy to occur is the influence of the installation position of micro differential pressure transmitter on the zero output. Because of its small measuring range, the sensing elements in the micro differential pressure transmitter will affect the output of the micro differential pressure transmitter. During installation, the pressure sensitive part of the transmitter should be axially 90 degrees perpendicular to the gravity direction. After installation and fixation, remember to adjust the zero position of the transmitter to the standard value.

     

    4. The output signal of the transmitter is unstable.

     

    This kind of fault can definitely be caused by the pressure source. The pressure source itself is an unstable pressure. It is likely that the anti-interference ability of the instrument or pressure sensor is not strong, the sensor itself vibrates badly or the sensor is damaged.
