Countries have put sensors in a higher position, and no one wants to lag behind others in developing sensor industry. Driven by the wave of intelligent manufacturing, China's sensor market has entered a new stage of rapid growth, and with the outbreak of the Internet of Things industry, sensor manufacturers have officially ushered in a dividend period of development.

On November 20th, 2017, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology officially issued the "Three-year Action Guide for Smart Sensor Industry (2017-2019)" (referred to as the "Guide"). The "Guide" put forward the overall goal and planned to achieve a significant breakthrough in the sensor industry by 2019. The scale of the smart sensor industry reached 26 billion yuan, including 5 enterprises with main business exceeding 1 billion yuan and 2 billion enterprises with main business exceeding 100 million yuan. The production capacity of MEMS process production line has increased steadily.

Intelligent sensor is the general trend.

On December 15, 2017, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology officially issued the "Three-year Action Plan for Promoting the Development of a New Generation of Artificial Intelligence Industry", which pointed out the way forward for the development of artificial intelligence from 2018 to 2020. The key content in the plan is to cultivate eight smart products and four core foundations, and smart sensors are ranked first in the core foundation, which is in an important position.

In the plan, it is proposed to develop new intelligent sensors for biology, gas and pressure with broad market prospects, and specific requirements are put forward for the development level of sensors. By 2020, the performance of piezoelectric sensors, magnetic sensors and infrared sensors will be significantly improved, pressure sensors below the level will be commercialized, and magnetic sensors with weak magnetic field resolution of 1pT will be mass-produced.
