Cartridge valve is different from ordinary hydraulic control valve, its flow rate can reach 1000L/min, and its diameter can reach 200 ~ 250 mm.. The valve core has simple structure, sensitive action and good sealing performance. Its function is relatively simple, mainly to realize the connection or disconnection of the liquid path, and only when it is combined with the common hydraulic control valve can it control the direction, pressure and flow of the oil in the system.

Cartridge valve basic assembly

The assembly consists of a valve core, a valve sleeve, a spring and a sealing ring. According to different uses, it is divided into directional valve assembly, pressure valve assembly and flow valve assembly. The installation dimensions of the three components with the same diameter are the same, but the structural form of the valve core and the diameter of the valve sleeve seat are different. All three components have two main oil ports A and B and one control port X.

There are two main types of relief valve [1] structures: spring type and lever type. Spring type means that the sealing between disc and valve seat depends on the force of spring. Lever type depends on the force of lever and heavy hammer. With the need of large capacity, there is another kind of pulse relief valve, also known as pilot relief valve, which consists of main relief valve and auxiliary valve. When the medium pressure in the pipeline exceeds the specified pressure value, the auxiliary valve is opened first, and the medium enters the main pressure relief valve along the conduit, and the main pressure relief valve is opened to reduce the increased medium pressure.
